Dr. Angela Cooper

Dr. Angela Cooper is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Lexington School District Two. She has served in the capacity for 20 + years and came to Lexington County by way of Edgefield County where she was employed in the same capacity for a number of years.
Dr. Cooper enjoyes the field of Organizational Behavior and Development and has experience in both the public and private sectors. Dr. Cooper is active with a number of community organizations and causes and takes her mantra to the world "purpose" no matter where you are or what you are doing with her.
Dr. Cooper has an academic background that blends education and applied psychology with the organizational component of work and the adult learner. She has a keen interest in the globalization aspect of public education and more speciafically how to grow the adult learned in a virtual world. Dr. Cooper has attained Certification in all aspects of the Instructional Design and Synchronous Learning from the In Sync Training Institute. She is among the small group of professionals to hold the SLE Certification.
